About the project

THE BRIEF AV is the personal brand of Agustina Vinciguerra, a videogame developer and 3D animator working at the intersection of art and technology. She needed a professional identity that could present her work clearly, make her more memorable at industry conferences, and support new networking opportunities. My scope included the complete visual identity, a printed portfolio, business cards, and a website design capable of bringing her different skills and projects into one cohesive system. THE INSIGHT A personal portfolio should do more than organize previous work. It should quickly communicate how that person thinks and create a recognizable presence without competing with the projects being presented. For Agustina, I identified an opportunity to represent both sides of her practice: the structured, technical logic of videogame development and the expressive imagination involved in animation and digital world-building. CREATIVE AND VISUAL DIRECTION I built the identity around a pixel-inspired AV monogram, using the visual logic of screens and digital environments to create a direct connection with Agustina’s field. Its compact construction gives her a recognizable signature that can work independently in small formats, from profile images to business cards. I expanded that logic through geometric shapes, modular compositions, and a bright, high-contrast color palette that brings energy and movement to the system. To balance these expressive elements, I used clear typographic hierarchies and structured layouts that keep Agustina’s work at the center rather than allowing the identity to overpower it. I then adapted the same visual rules across print and digital formats. The printed portfolio creates a curated, tactile presentation of her experience, while the business card and website provide direct paths to continue exploring her work online. THE OUTCOME The result is a flexible personal identity that translates Agustina’s combination of technical thinking and creativity into a clear visual language. By establishing consistent rules for typography, color, geometry, and hierarchy, I created a system that allows her to introduce herself confidently across conferences, printed materials, and digital platforms while keeping every touchpoint connected and recognizable.
